The original 3BEANS recipe came from ancient texts which described Baltic brewers making beer with beans. For this special barrel-aged version of 3BEANS, the Mad Scientists carefully calibrated the beer with cold brew coffee, rich chocolate, and notes of oak and bourbon to round out the profile.
This beer isabsolutely incredibleand extremely rare at this point. It wasbrewed back in June of 2017—a whopping41 months. It laid in barrels for a time before being canned a released... however a small amount was reserved for a special occasion. The beer is truly unique: very dry for the style, with sharp notes of chocolate and coffee that have achieved remarkable depth after years in the cellar.
